AC for HIT- 2

March 2021 - December 2021

As an assistant cinematographer for 'HIT-2', I worked with the director of photography to help set up shots, ensure that the lighting was being set up on time, and ensure that the costume team, directing team and the camera department were all working in harmony. I also took on additional responsibilities, overseeing the promotions for the project, and created a wide range of promotional content to help build buzz around the release.

AC for 'Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty'

July 2022 - November 2022

My time working as Mr Nirav Shah's assistant, on a Telugu project called 'Miss Shetty, Mr Polishetty', was a unique and valuable experience. As his only assistant during that time, I had a significant amount of responsibility and gained a deeper understanding of the art of cinematography. Mr Nirav Shah is a highly experienced and skilled professional, so working alongside him was a great opportunity. Overall, my time as Mr Nirav Shah's assistant was a challenging but rewarding experience that helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Head of Marketing for 'Meet Cute'

November 2022 - January 2023

Worked as a Social Media Content Creator and Instagram Handle Manager for Wallposter Cinema. Served as the Head of Marketing for their show "Meet Cute", overseeing the promotions, organising photoshoots, and creating content for the Wallposter Instagram handle.

Developed a creative strategy for the marketing campaign, which included conducting photoshoots for each cast member in accordance with their episode's colour palette, and producing engaging content that highlighted the unique themes of each episode. For example, I organised interviews with real in-laws for the cast of "In Law" (Episode 3)

AC for 'Kingdom'

June 2023 - July 2023

The experience of working with Mr Girish Gangadharan was truly exceptional and inspiring. Despite the limited duration of just one schedule, those 20 days provided an invaluable chance for personal growth and learning.

AC for 'Coolie'

May 2024 - July 2024

It was a true privilege and a dream come true to have the opportunity to work with Girish Sir once again, especially on a project as iconic as 'Coolie'. This role represented a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me. Although my involvement was for only 2 schedules, I am deeply grateful for being a part of such a remarkable project and talented team. The experience was invaluable, and I gained significant insights that will continue to shape my professional growth. I cherish every moment and the learning that came with it.

AC for 'HIT - 3'

January 2025 - Febuary 2025

I got the opportunity to observe Mr Sanu John Varughese, who is one of my favourite cinematographers. It was an amazing opportunity, and I learnt a lot. Mr Sanu is a great teacher and is very approachable. Though I had only joined them for the final schedule of the film, it was a very inspiring experience for me both personally and professionally. In the final schedule, we shot the climax of the film, which fully took place at night. This meant that we had 30 days of night shoot and then a week of patchwork for the film. It was a great learning experience about how he justifies lights, and works hand in hand with the art department, and bases even his lighting plans on the story.  Additionally, I was able to learnt a lot about VFX work and how to light a green screen, etc. I helped the on-set VFX supervisor, digitally scan the entire set and maintained a VFX data sheet for every shot.

Marketing Assistant for 'Court'

December 2024- March 2025

I helped with the ideation of the film's marketing strategy and also shot some promotional content for their Instagram handle. Given that it is a norm for a film like this to release character posters, I had the idea of making it a bit more unique and photographing practical elements to make a more realistic poster, as if these are case files sitting on a judge's desk, to tie into the film's theme. I also helped organise a 'song launch event' in a local college, and it was great watching the cast and crew of the film interact with the students.

Additionally, I helped the production company, 'WallPoster Cinema', create their own website. It was great to collaborate with their executive producer and watch my ideas for the site come to life. The development of the website was given to another company, but I acted as Wall-Poster's representative to follow up on updates and get approval from the company. I gave ideas about the design and how we could make this a platform for young filmmakers to pitch their ideas to the company, given that Wall-Poster's mission statement is to strictly work with new talent and bring unique ideas to life. It took months, from the ideation to actually making the website live. Still, I really enjoyed coordinating between the two companies and creating something that could potentially help people bridge that gap between creator and financier.
